The blas program goal is to mold the mind and build the character of students using literacy, leadership, and resiliency skills to enable them to manage adversity effectively and enrich self esteem 1- Education of Self and Character Can you describe your character? What type of person are you? What do you know about yourself? How do you feel about yourself? 2-BLAS Traits Believe Lead Achieve Succeed Got to Breathe and believe. Got to believe you can lead. You must lead to achieve. And you achieve to succeed. 3-Principles of BLAS B-Faith-got to be willing to find it from within by searching from within L-Courage-got to be willing to be vulnerable and willing to step out by leading yourself to it A-Determination-Got to be willing to go for it, moving forward, toward it to obtain it(The end zones are ahead in front of us) S-Discipline-Gotta to be willing to focus and concentrate on it more and more until you master the energy of self 3-Trait #1-Belief in Self -Enlarge Faith -Increase belief to lead 4-Lead -Take the lead! -Why not you? -You can lead to? -It starts and ends with you! 5-Achieve -Can shall will must -Be determined not deterred -Go for it moving forward towards it! -End zones are in the front ahead of us 6-Succeed -WinnerWinner discipline mindset - Focus and concentration on your actions and behaviors -Stick to it until you master your energy of self
